I'm not superstitious at all, but my babies father's mother, who is buying the babies new pram, has said that it is superstitious to bring the pram into my house before the baby is born
So she wants to keep it at her house until after the baby is born.
I respect that she is buying it for me, but i would rather just have all babies things at home before she is born, and all this new baby superstitions thing is just really pissing me off now.
Plus, if she keeps it at her's then i wont even get to see it before the baby is born, which is quite annoying.
I have heard of not having a cot in the house until baby is born, but i've never heard of the pram thing, and i have never actually done these things with my other children as babies.
I dont know how to tell her that i would rather just have it here before baby is born, but i dont want to offend her.
Do people actually still follow these superstitions?

Wth is a pram? And I think ur just being hormonal. I don't see the big deal in having to have it there before she is born I mean you won't need it before then anyways. And as far as seeing it, go over and take a look. Ur being over dramatic

I've never heard of the pram one, and I'm superstitious myself. :P

I did work for a woman who kept all her mirrors covered around the baby, though.

I got one a few weeks before DD was born, it gave me something to do with putting it together and figuring it all out like how it fit it in the car and stuff

I'd at least let ask for a picture or to go over and see the stroller before hand but lwt her have her superstitions. Although I doubt anything bad would happen I have had everything early for my first and even earlier for this second baby.

Lol i'm pregnant, i'm allowed to be hormonal
I'm well aware that i wont be needing it before the baby is born, but i don't really want to have to travel 4 hours to her house just to take a look at it.
