went to the doctor after my test results came back im healthy and there was no reason why i cant lose weight. i have had a problem with my weight for 12 years and i am at desperation stage now i am classed as obese and have 2 children i want to see grow up. My doctor said i am "incurable like cancer" and that "if i get to 140kg by xmas its not his problem" when i asked about the drug duromine, he said "i dont believe in that shit, if you want a hit of something go somewhere else. He then proceeded to even say no to getting a dietitian involved. I am incurable and nothing will help me.

While I agree your doctor is a complete moron, I think you need to go see a dietician. From reading your others posts I don't think your diet is "bad" but I can see where you may be eating things you think are healthy but really arent. I'd also be concerned about the types of exercises you're doing.

You had a baby 12 weeks ago, yes? Meaning you've only had about 6 weeks to get into a good groove with diet and exercise. I think you just need a little help here from a professional to put you on the right track. I don't know that diet pills are an answer just yet.

FIND A NEW DOCTOR... and report him. I almost can't believe a doctor would say something like that to a patient, even if he believed any of it to be true. I realize everyone has their bad days but any doctor should certainly know better than to treat a patient in such a manner. I would most certainly report him to whoever runs the clinic he is employed at. I would also get online and google him because there are reviews on google.com for just about any doctor. You can add your story and hopefully save someone else from going through what you experienced. I know I definitely read a doctor's reviews online before seeing him and there has been at least one I didn't give my business to based on the reviews alone.

As far as losing weight goes, you should definitely work with a dietician. Most people truly do not understand what kind of foods are actually healthy and how to utilize them in the most beneficial way. Losing weight starts with your diet first and foremost and after you have that settled, think about establishing an exercise routine roughly five days a week for one hour each day.

What it comes down to sounds so simple but is still so hard for most: You simply need to burn more calories than you take in. This involves cutting your intake of calories and exercising.

Good luck and don't be so hard on yourself. Losing weight isn't easy for most people so you're not alone. There are lots of support groups online if that might help.
