I wish people wouldn't feel sorry for me.. *Anners* 3 kids; Texas 12319 posts

Because I'm a mother of three and I do a lot of stuff on my own. For instance, right now my husband is at AT and I've got three girls to get ready in the morning, take one to school then back home. Then pick the oldest up after school. When my husband is here, I do all of that anyways, but the teachers and some parents voiced to me this afternoon that they, "felt bad" because I'm having to do all this stuff alone. What the eff?! What's wrong with being somewhat independent?

Errrmmm.... maybe it's because you are so open with these people about how much you do versus how much your husband does?

hahah! I feel sorry for myself.......but i dont like people pointing it out! My husbands works out of town....i work 50 hours a week, and take care of our son, the house, etc.....I think i sleep like 30 hours a week at most! but i couldnt imagine my life not being so hectic and busy.....then i might actually start missing my husband a lot, right now i only think about it when im upset or when i lay down for bed how much i really miss him and wish he was at home!

All they know is that he's at AT, nothing more. They just see me daily with all the kids.

I dont ever have ppl say they feel sorry for me...but it does irritate me when ppl say things like...I would kill myself if i had that many when i am out with them. or other neg comments that go along with it.

This would be my best guest as well. Typically people are over whelmed when they have a lot on their plate, so the general reaction is to somewhat offer them help/feel bad I guess. You can't really stop them pitying you unless they are constantly offering to help you or something then you could actually say something or address it but you can't really stop what people think. Shrugs.

I've had people say they can't believe I'm so young with so many kids. :? Or my favorite question, "where they planned?"

Seriously....YES!! the " I would kill myself one" really pisses me off because they say it in FRONT of my kids...hello they are not MORONS they can understand you idiot.

then they ask the " Do they all have the Same Daddy" question in FRONT of my hubby?!!?!? he just says..." well she claims they are mine, but i have my doubts about a few of them"

My older kids have no caught on to the fact that EVERY time we go out ppl say the same shit...they will be like...Why does everyone say that to us when we go somewhere lol.

See, at that point I would def. have to say something. I can't believe some of the comments people have to offer, like hello? Did I ask for your thoughts or opinions on my life

That's when I wanna make myself a shirt that addresses all the things people gawk at me about.
