I was just wondering at what time does the baby move into position for delivery? And what does it feel like? Ive read a few posts where people said it hurts really bad for awhile and a few days ago I got the most horrible pain EVER in my lower stomach. I called the hospital and they said unless my stomach was tight it wasnt contractions so I shouldnt come in. Just wondering what its like when the baby moves down.

i think it depends on when the baby wants to arrange itself. I dont honestly know when mine flipped but at my u/s in Jan she was breeched and then this past week she was already in place. I dont know when she moved but I never hurt. I think everyone is different.

oh and I do have quite a bit of pressure in my pelvic area at times thats the only thing and when she turns her head from side to side it feels as though there is grinding going on down there, very strange.

Im 28 weeks and had an ultra sound last week and my little girl is already in position. I didnt feel anything, but the normal her squirming around in there..now I dont feel her moving to different positions anymore, but just kicks and punches.
I think the uncomfortableness comes when the baby actually drops. Not when it goes into position.

My baby moved into head down a couple weeks ago...now Im worrying she will wiggle herself out and wont go back . Shes not engaged though, shes still sitting very high. Most women can tell when the baby moves down because their bellys drop and you can feel alot more pressure.
