bleach fumes question Wolverine Due April 16; 2 kids; 2 angel babies; Lake City, Michigan 37236 posts

I used bleach in my carpet machine in ethans bedroom at around 7:00 pm. He fell asleep in my bed. I had the windows open and his ceiling fan on. The carpet is just about dry now, but his room still smells like bleach.... not really strong, but its there.

Can I put him in his bed? Even though the smell is faint, it was on the whole carpet and idk if it can be harmful for him to smell all night.

Advice?

I know that if I smell bleach for a longer period of time, than just a few minutes it gives me a headache. I would say that for tonight have him sleep somewhere else, and let the room air out. It should be fine by tomorrow.
