Quoting Fatty McPants!:" That's what I started out with in March. Love C25K! Didn't do squat today. Yet another day when ... [snip!] ... training? Right??? LOL. I plan on doing a hill run in the morning before my appointments. Inspiration for tomorrow: "

My parents stopped by right when I was leaving to run yesterday...I didn't end up going at all. I did do 100 squats though. That was my mini goal yesterday, write down everything I eat and do 100 squats throughout the day. I like making just little one day goals to keep me honest and motivated.

Today's goal is to write down everything I eat and to do the c25k, ideally I want to do at leas 1.5miles in the 20 minutes.

So I've been doing really good with my training :D

Tuesday was a 3 m run w/ jogging stroller, and yesterday was the TM cirucit.

I've started Hal Higdon's half marathon for novice this week:
http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/novice.htm

After I complete that I will do the intermediate guide and complete my first half marathon in April
http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/inter.htm

Then will start on his full marathon training in May:
http://www.halhigdon.com/marathon/MaraIntermediate1.html

I figure doing these programs back to back to back will help in the long term with the running aspect of TM. I will continue with the TM circuit as well :D and when I get a chance will begin to do the boot camp classes at my gym twice a week. From everything I've read having a good base in running will help tremendously in achieving my goals for TM.

Oh and the Turkey Trot 3.5 miles is on Sunday. I'm really REALLY hoping to keep up an 11 mins/ mile pace. My current fastest is 12. My neighbor passed away on Sunday, though, so if his funeral is this weekend I may not be able to do it, but it's still a good goal to keep in mind :D

Doing some sort of exercise is better than nothing.

Did you achieve your goal for yesterday?

I sure did! I didn't wake up sore at all the next day...which tells me that I could have done more. I did the 30ds yesterday and my arms are sore today, lol. I really want to go run today. It's cold but I guess if I bundle up the baby it will be okay? Or I can just wait until it gets warmer at noon or so.

Awesome stuff!

Just bundle baby up in a coat and a few blankets that's what I always do. It's easier for me to run in the morning, though.

Me too...as the day goes on I get tired and lazy. I just worry about Rosalyn because she would be facing outward and into the wind.

If I can't, I guess I will do the 30ds again. It just isn't the same...I think I am going to really love running. I love the feeling, makes me feel super human.

So I'm doing awesome and right on track. Thursday I ran 3 miles, Friday I did .5 mile hills warm up + TM circuit + some pilates stretches to help my legs. They're feeling extra tight lately. Tomorrow's the turkey trot and I'm hoping to reach my goal of coming in 40 mins or under for 3.5 miles. We'll see!

I know that at some point in the race tomorrow I am going to want to stop and give up or stop and walk and not push myself. I know in order to accomplish what I want I must push on.

So I participated in the turkey trot this morning. Awesome race even if I was freezing my ass off for most of it. I made a wrong turn and took a nice 1.5 mile detour up a hill. Still paced 12 mins/ mile overall, 61 mins to complete a total of 5 miles. My longest run since before I got pregnant! I feel great! Was exhausted afterwords but feel awesome now!

My inspiration for tomorrow. I'm supposed to "tone and stretch" WTFE that means

I think I'm going to look up some pilates exercises to encorporate my exercise ball and toning bands. Something different but light for tomorrow. My legs hurt like a MoFo.
