Sad to see that people who are in such great "need" for welfare, will sell it for half it's worth. You made a mistake, you're fucked.

Nope. I hereby deem this situation completely unfuckable.

Quoting Kyrie ♥'s Monkeys:" Your friend doesn't owe you a dime, that was the governments money so he owes them. You could report that he used it and they can go after him. I'd suggest looking for a much better job asap"

this is what I meant in my reply. Not sure if it came across as this.

<blockquote><b>Quoting bitch.:</b>" Damn that really sucks...I would say that he stole your card and spent it all, honestly. Even though ... [snip!] ... what you did was illegal(I've done it too, but only with people I really trust) he needs to pay you back that is fucked up!"</blockquote>

That's fucked up to lie to them about it. She shouldn't have done it in the first place.

Yeah. You can't unfuck yourself. You can either deal with it or admit to your caseworker that you committed welfare fraud and get the fine/jail time/ pay back what was used.

Go to a food bank for your kid.

You have some nerve to come on here and whine about this. You made your bed.

How is it lying? He took her card, he used all of it. He's committing a crime too.

I was selling SOME of it to pay bills. I get $260 a month but I have to pay $500 rent, baby stuff, my stuff and etc. I'm looking for a second job but no luck yet.

Consequences. I don't really see the difference. You were cheating the government and tax payers that were trying to help you and then you got cheated yourself. I hope it's a lesson learned.

But he didnt steal it -- that would be a lie. Technically when you give someone you card and pin # they consider that to be permission to access ALL funds. That goes for bank cards, foodstamps, etc.

Ohh well your fault. He doesn't owe you a penny. It was never yours to begin with. Now if you get caught the gov't isn't giving you shit.
