Hello everybody! So here's my thing. I woke up this morning and had a BM and there was blood in my stool! My butt doesn't hurt or anything though. I have had hemmeroids before and this doesn't feel like hemmeriods. I feel fine except for the blood. This is my 2nd baby and I was lucky enough to not have any roids with the first. I hope I don't get them with this one. So what do you think? are they the beginning stages of a real pain in the ass??

theres both internal and external hemmeroids. If you don't notice any on the outside... maybe it's internal. Thats my best guess. Of course the doctor would no better than me.

it could still be roids. You don't always have the ones that hang outside you butt....sorry if that's too gross...sometime they are on the inside and become irritated during bowel movements. I had that happen all the time towards the end of my pregnancy with my son. Or even an irritated bowel..which would also bleed during BM's.....you need more roughage in your diet!!

Call your doc. it could be hemmeriods, gastric ulcers.. you just never know. When ever there is blood, go to the doctor. dont wait it out! (I'm talking from personal experiance)

Im hoping thats not the case for you...but I would go see a doctor just to make sure.:?

I'm a medic in the Army and I can tell you that there are lots of reasons for bloody stool. Some are innocuous and some are serious, but there is no way to tell over the internet or a verbal conversation. Definately call your OB. This is NOT something to put off or hope goes away. A lot of things could be going on, and the abdomen especially is tricky for that kind of stuff because the nerves don't necessarily show pain in the places where stuff can be going wrong. Call the doctor.
