Maybe I should just sleep at his bedside too. That sounds like a perfectly good solution!!!

Quoting Stroller/carseat lady:" Well I think it might be a good idea to use a baby monitor and attend to the 2 year old when he wakes up from his naps, rather than ignoring him and allowing him to play with his poop. "

are you even a parent?? If you are, i sure hope it happends to you since you think you have it all figured out . ALOT of children go through this phase, and how the hell is she supposed to know he is doing this during his nap time

Reading the comments, someone mentioned ducttaping his pants to him, and I have heard that actually works - no lie.
Try giving him other things to play with that are messy, but not so smelly like fecal matter and can easy be washed off, like mud outside, sand, playdough, etc.
I wouldn't jump to autism just yet if that is the only symptom you are noticing.

As for the cunt that told you you were neglecting your child - you should package some of your child's fecal matter nice and neatly and send it to her with a big red bow on top. :D

I put my girls in footy pajamas when they started taking diapers off at nap time.

"... 9/10 moms agree you are being neglectful on a different website looking in at this. And the cold water rinse? Wow, just wow. Get off of farmville and use a baby monitor. Don't let your toddler play with poop everyday. He's going to get sick that way."

Just got this message from Stroller/carseat lady... But I'm going to reply to it here.

First off, the cold water rinse was recommended by his pedi. So, until you go to school for 7 years and hear about problems parents face with their children, I don't give a FUCK what you have to say. :D

As for playing "farmville" I prefer to spend my time when I neglect my son playing World of Warcraft thank you very much!

And as far as "letting" my child play with poop. Do you think I would be posting this here if I was letting him? No, if I was letting him it would be all over my house right now. I would keep his wonderful finger paintings and hang them on my fridge. And as far as him getting sick from playing with it, that was also another question I asked my pedi and she said that his poop will not make him sick. Now if I was taking a shit on the floor and let him play with MY crap, then that would be a problem.

So hey, why don't you go to cafemom or thebump and tell them what a horrible parent I am some more. You are a prime example of why I'm not on those sites... Because all you wanna do is cause drama and put people down because you think your opinion matters more than anyone else's.

I really should box up my sons crap and send it to you with a nice red bow and a tag that says "Don't Open til Christmas" that way it's nice and smelly from sitting for over a month ;)

I know, I should just make him sleep outside... Walls are totally overrated.

yeah I've tried that. It doesn't work. He slips his arms out and stretches out the neck and slides it off.. He sure does go through a lot of trouble just to play with his poop. And its not like he has poop in his diaper. He literally takes his diaper OFF and poops on the floor...=/ Luckily we have hardwood floors otherwise that would be a mess to clean out of carpet...

i have the BEST suggestion for you to fix your problem

get rid of your child's walls. that way you can neglect him and play WoW AND he'll have no walls to smear his poop on! win win!

I have toyed with this idea.... who needs walls?
