Here is your book for your state. You should have a book like this in your WIC folder. Every state is different. My WIC only allows glass jars no 2 packs plastic containers.

Huh? U cant do 2 packs at all. You have to do jars.

It varies from state to state because here you can get jars or packs, double or single.
If it says 10 4oz. packs then it can be broken down anyway as long as it's no more than 40oz....that's how it is here at least.

When I had WIC we could only get the single jars and it had to be a single fruit or veggie. Like we couldn't get mixed fruit or strawberry banana or anything like that.

If I am right the 10 (4oz) would be 10 glass jars of baby food, or the 14 (3.5oz) would be the twin pack which is 2 (3.5) so that would be 7-2packs (2-3.5oz packaged).

So 10 glass jars or 7-twin packs. The reason why it would be only 7 twin packs is because each twin pack has 2 of 3.5 oz of baby food.

So you if you get the glass jars you would only be getting 40 ounces total, if you get the twin packs you get 49 oz.

This is what I think you are supposed to get based on your WIC check.

that makes sense lol i feel like i over thought it! i hope my favorite cashier is working that way if i did it wrong she can help me! she used to let some of the food slide like the mixed foods apple banana strawberry she was ok with a few times i know its wrong but hey didnt bug me

think i will jsut do the 10 jars depends on what they have on base. the 3.5 2pks are those stage 2 foods?

Yes they all are stage 2 foods that you get on WIC. It says that in your book. I posted the site earlier. But I'll post it again for your WIC book info.

It's so interesting how it varies by state.

From 6 - 12 months WIC gave us sixteen 4 oz jars of stage 1 baby food each month. It had to be the glass jars, single food only.

Once he turned a year old, it switched to milk, peanut butter, etc.
