That's something you need to ask your OB, because every doctor is different. Some won't check until you're in labor, because there's really no reason for it.

usually 36 weeks, unless they think you may be dilating sooner...although some dont even check you nowadays

Mine does not check because of the risk of infection when you are checked goes up.

Mine started at 30 weeks because I was already feeling severe pressure and hard contractions. So far I'm 34 weeks and 4 days and 2cm dilated and 70% effaced

well my first pregnancy it was until i believe 35 or 36 weeks and this time wont be till 37 since i am having a c-section at 39 weeks so he doesnt want to poke around if its not needed... so all depends on your doctor they are all different..

Mine checked me yesterday (33 wks) but only because I have been having contractions and lots of pressure! He said he normally checks at 37 weeks!

Depends on the doctor. But IF they do it is like 37wks or later. At the point, when and if you go into labor, their would be no need to stop baby from coming.....HINT... As long as you have had a history of good paps, health and had a recent pap, there is no reason for your doctor to be up in your stuff unless it is a good medical reason. I am 36wks today with my 6th pregnancy, in a few days will be the first time they even get to see any other part of me aside from my belly, only because it is a need to have the GBS test done. hope this helps.
