Well I've been reading about it and I'm losing pieces of this gel like clear/white/yellowish color thing...lol. I was reading that this means labor is on it's way, even though it could be weeks from now. Anyone else losing theirs?

Well I know that. But it's still awesome to know that soon I'll have my baby boy!

It doesn't mean labor is coming soon. It is normal this far along to have increased discharge and you can loose small bits of your MP here and there. It can also grow back. When I was 38 weeks, I lost mine completely. I did go into labor a few days later but it was after I lost the entire thing. Even then, it doesn't always mean you will into labor right away.

That is just a myth that it means anything at all. I lost part of mine at 29 weeks, then more at 32.

The same thing happened with my first pregnancy and she was born 1 day early.

I lost mine at 34 weeks too but it can regenerate itself, it's sneaky like that lol

All everyone is trying to tell you here is that saying "labor is on its' way" is only going to lead you to frustration. You could go another month and a half before baby and trust me, that far along...it feels like forever.

Very true and I'm not getting my hopes up. I know it could be weeks from now. I don't think I'm going into labor anytime soon. I'm just happy that I'm moving forward along in this pregnancy. And that yes it doesn't mean I'm going into labor but just the thought of I'll be having my baby is why I'm so happy that I'm kinda losing it. And I still have more to lose, cause I haven't lost all of it yet. But hell I could lose more and than not lose any till 38 weeks, just saying! Maybe!!

It's hard not to get anxious the last month or so. It is good to be excited of course. It seems like the last month every bit of movement and such makes you jump hoping "this is it!" It comes when you least expect it though. Lol! I was 38 weeks when we took DH into the ER for kidney stones. In the waiting room I stood up and BLAM, my water broke. It's crazy how it all happens so suddenly. :)

I hear you. I felt the same way and now my DD is 3 months old. It goes so fast. Enjoy the last month mama and take it all in. In no time, you'll be with him here. :) Best wishes!
