I have been having contractions since last nice with cramps every five minutes took a bath and still have the contractions and cramps. I also have gone to the bathroom more frequently.

My problem is that I have had contractions for weeks now 5-10 apart and I was taking Meds but was told by my doctor to stop them on Friday. Well bow am back with contractions every 5 minutes and cramps. I did not sleepf at night because they were so painful and I am just waiting for my water to break like how it happened with my dd. I am frustrated keep yelling at everyone. Oh and my doctor visit was Wednesday and I was not dilated or anything. I have to see him tomorrow and I don't know if I have any change but I feel like the baby has dropped even more because I can't even walk straight because my pelvic bone hurts so bad.

Any advice???

Well your water could very well not break at all. If they stay consistent and painful I would go get checked out.

I agree with this! Only 11% of peoples water breaks and just b/c your first broke doesn't mean your second will. Def go in if they stay around 5 mins or even pick up in intensity.

Are you full term?

You might have dialated since Wednsday, you should go for another checkup.

She is 37 weeks we have the same due date so technically considered term i guess.
I would be tempted to stick it out for a little longer and go in if they become more intense and closer together.

After my water bag broke, my LO almost came out immediately for the two births,so if the contractions get constant i would advise you to go in immediately

They don't get closer together they stay at 5 minutes this is so frustrating like I don't even know what to do my doctor just keeps telling me to deal with it since I have been having them for so long even on the meds I continue to have them.

I would be changing my doc! Ring l&d hun and see what they say, by the time you are ready to have this baby you are going to be exhausted. There aint no way you can continue like this.

I'd be getting anouther doctor's opinion. You are going to be to exhausted to deliver the baby at this rate. Pick an OBGYN in the phone book and call. Ask if you can ask them some questions.
