Levi is going to be one. I booked the hall for his party and am in process of decorations and food and stuff for like 60 people. I went to the cake shop the other day and picked up the cutest sugar things for his cake. He's having a spongebob blowout party =)

Any other mommys planning parties?

We just got done with my daughters and we are shooting for Sept.8th for E's party. His birthday is in 27 days :( we were going to do sept.1st but its Labor Day weekend and I'm sure people will be doing other family get togethers.

We are doing construction theme( daddy's pick lol) we have a friend who makes all our cakes because honestly, I suck at baking hahaha.

I also took E out to a local farm and did his 1 yr pics myself. They came out pretty decent so I plan on blowin it up and hanging that up for his party.
I think next kid will be a winter baby so I can have some time in between these parties! LOL

We don't do anything fancy for the first birthday. Just immediate family.

We are just having a small thing with close families and a couple of the kids he spends time with regularly. I dont know what kind of thing yet because im hopeless at organising stuff like this. His friend lives right next door to a splash park so Im really looking forward to that party weather permitting.

I found he has a complete upper lip tie today. He had his tongue tie snipped at 3 days but noone picked up the lip tie and I never thought to check myself. I only had a good poke around today because I was concerned at how far apart and wrong his top 2 teeth are looking. Going to make an appointment to see the Dr tomorrow.
At least I know I didnt completely suck at breast feeding and there was another reason I couldnt get him on properly.

You add one of the members who then adds you . They just added someone like a week ago so you wouldn't be the only 'newer ' one lol

that sounds like a better alternative. I know they are not going to do it in my area on the NHS for sure. The ENT consultant tried to call me back while I was at work but he left a message with his secretary saying they leave it be :( thats where I live. If I lived elsewhere I may be offered different treatment. Free healthcare is such a blessing but theres much inequality across the country.
Im gonna email him when Im back at work on Thurs. See what he advises.
There are 2 private practitioners that Im aware of in Britain that will do it but they are about 4 hours away. Ill have to do my research. I dont mind paying as long as its for the best.
