Bloody show, baby at 35 weeks? *Soon 2B G0rda* Due December 24 (boy); 4 kids; Mexico 9207 posts

I'm thinking it's inevitable. I've been restless and nauseous the whole night. And now guess what just showed up ? Yep my bloody show. Nice. Would it be dumb for me to go to the hospital if I'm not contracting regularly?

You can go. They will just send you home. Just because your restless and nauseous doesn't mean you're going to have a baby. Neither does bloody show. Especially since you're not contracting regularly. There are a lot of reasons for bleeding.

I'd wait until the contractions change. Either they increase in severity or the space between them becomes smaller.

They don't necessarily need to be regular for them to be labor. My second daughter started out as labor with irregular contractions so they put me on Pitocin.

I would go in just to be on the safe side. I had to Fi in at 31 weeks to stop my labor. (Didn't even realize I was in labor my back just hurt.) Found out I was having contractions every 10-15. Then 2 weeks later I had to go in again and now I'm 80% effaced & 2cm dilated. I'm 33 weeks & 2 days. The farther you carry that baby the better your baby will be. 35 weeks isn't terrible but it doesn't hurt to play it safe. I hope things go well for you & you can keep that baby in as long as you want!

And this.

You had an exam yesterday so a bit of bleeding is normal.

I've been having contractions like period cramps but they are really random and not regular. Maybe every 10-15 minutes. And the blood is pinkish and with mucus. When she pulled her hand out earlier I didn't see any blood on her glove or have any spotting till now. I hate the end of pregnancy it is the fuel for hypochondriac-ism lol

I honestly wouldn't be too concerned. You're not always going to bleed while she's examining you, but afterwards it is normal.

Same thing happened to me at 36 weeks. I as nervous so I went to be seen u everything was fine. I had cramps like I was on my period but no contractions. I didn't go into labor for two weeks exactly. The night I went into labor we had sex and I was contracting shortly after and I had some blood come out and contractions 5 mins apart. Good luck!!! Really soon she will be here

I had it for a couple days. It would start and stop. And didn't start back up till labor hit. I am thinking your okay but if your cramps turn into contractions I'd go in

I will def go in if I start having painful contractions. I'm on edge right now. I'm sure I'm probably fine but every time I feel her kick me in my bladder or " down there" I'm afraid she's gonna do some damage lol

How are you feeling now hun? Time your contractions if they get regular and frequent then go to the hospital right away hun. It could be that you are just loosing your plug little by little who knows just monitor it. GL.

I am also 35 wks & having irregular contractions & losing my mucus plug little by little (started as of lastnight) I talked to my doctor this morning & they told me if I start to have a bloody show to go in, so in my opinion from what they told me I would go in just to be safe that way if you are in pre term labor they can try to stop it, since it is best for baby to be in there for a couple more weeks.
