How much was/is your baby eating in solids at 7 or 8 months old?

How often, how much at each feeding approximately?

*if your baby was only fed formula or BM at this age, then your answer is irrelevant, so save it.

7 months, not often at all. Maybe once a week? 8 months, probably 2-3 times a week. I always forgot we had the jarred foods, to be honest. So I would just make him a bottle.

My LO had a super bad gag reflex so we only gave him maybe half a jar of 1st foods with breakfast and lunch, sometimes not even that much.

At 8 month he was eating Cereal for breakfast, A jar of stage 2 at lunch and a jar at dinner. He is a chunk and a very big eater. Now at 11 months he is on all soft table foods.

lmao. I'm sorry, that was hilarious. But I know exactly why you put that in there.

at 8 months my kids were eating a baby yogurt and usually a jar of fruit for breakfast, and a handful of dry cereal, then an 8oz bottle mid morning. 2 jars of baby food and some finger food for lunch, then an 8oz bottle mid afternoon, then 2 jars for dinner plus finger food, and another 8oz bottle before bed.

They'd have snack throughout the day, a few crackers, handful of goldfish or cheerios, and pretty much anything they could pick up and get in their mouths. My kids also really liked the Nutragrain bars cut up into small pieces, but I dont' think we started doing those until 9-10 months or so.

They were sleeping through the night, too.

THANK YOU.
Your kids ate the same way my daughter does, she eats alot more than most babies and I was like "wtf"
My son ate alot but he was HUGE, my daughter is tiny, in the 5th percentile. But she eats like a big man.

And yeah, I'm so sick of women feeling the need to be like "nothing. EBF." like I give a fuck or something

I meant he is a chunk now and a very big eater. He eats all day long :) He eats all table foods. Today he had Cereal and a whole banana for breakfast. For lunch he had spaghetti. He has had a couple snacks, yogurt, etc. He only has about 2-3 5 ounce bottles now a day.

Then he ate the jarred food, snacks, and about 4-5 6 ounce bottles a day.

LMAO. If they'll eat it, I'll let them. My kids stop opening their mouths when they're full... so that's when I stopped. they almost always made it through 2 jars of food per meal, plus a random handful of whatever I put on the tray.

Yeah that's what I usually do. The girl loves food.
She doesn't have any teeth though so I can't give her EVERYTHING we eat.
But I smush up close to anything and she'll eat it lol
