Is there such a thing as using Desitin too much too often? Her little bottom seems so red to me, I feel bad not applying it but on the other hand I don't want to give her a yeast infection. When I change her diaper i let her air out a little before applying it again and closing up her diaper.

I have a boy but I dont like using desitin to much but I like the petroleum(sp?) jelly with Aloe in it :)

I think I remember seeing not to use it more than 3 times in one day, because its medicated. We always used the extra strength stuff though, so I dont know if its different.

Lmao now i feel like an idiot, it says use as often as needed. But my biggest concern is causing her a yeast infection form it.

I used it with my son every diaper change until he was potty trained. I know it osunds crazy but I love desitin! I will be using with my daughter too.

That shouldn't cause her to get a yeast infection. Things like vasiline that harbor bacteria can but desitin shouldn't do that. Just don't cake it on super thick. Put a good layer on each time and wipe her gently when you change her diaper before you re-apply it

don't use that, get endent. you have you get it from like cvs or the pharmacy at walmart, works like magic. rash will be gone the next day. i love it.
