How to get Pregnant Without Fallopian Tubes

By Lauren Farrelly, eHow Contributor

Fallopian tubes are essential to the natural pregnancy process. A woman, however, can still become pregnant with none, or only one fallopian tube. Once an egg is released from an ovary, it is sent into the fallopian tube where it waits to be fertilized. Once it is fertilized, it will move down and implant into the uterus for further development. If a woman has no fallopian tubes, she very well may still be ovulating. However, the chances for a natural conception pregnancy are very slim. Instead, in vitro fertilization will be the best course of action.

Actually read up on it. Its possible to get pregnant with no tubes, just EXTREMELY rare. and who are any of you to say she didnt beat the odds. Quit being so mean and do some research before you start spouting out insults. You make yourselves look like idiots.

If you read the sources, one is the Mayo Clinic on how to get pregnant with ONE fallopian tube. The other is how to get pregnant after tubal reversal and IVF.
There is no source for how to get pregnant with NO fallopian tubes, because it is virtually impossible. Whether you're ovulating or not, there is nothing to transport an egg to the uterus - and no way for the sperm to even reach the egg to fertilize it.

You googled. If you *researched* it, you would have looked at the sources that article was pulling from.

Find me something of value, and I'll retract my opinion.

Here is something of interest.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get pregnant if both of the fallopian tubes are BLOCKED. Now what makes anyone think it would be possible WITHOUT fallopian tubes all together?

This fertility doctor talks about pregnancy w/o tubes about halfway down.

Member:" I had my right ovary and both tubes removed about six years ago. I was told that I couldn't get pregnant naturally, but I think I'm pregnant now. I need to know what the possibilities are. I still have my monthly cycle, so that means I'm still producing eggs. Can by some miracle I still get pregnant?"

Dr. Amos:" If your pregnancy test is positive despite having no tubes, you should see your doctor right away and let her know about the pregnancy. It's very important that she knows about it, because getting pregnant without tubes can be very dangerous and increase the risk of complication such as an ectopic pregnancy."

That is from an actual fertility doctor. Someone above me just posted something from ehow? i think too on getting pregnant without tubes. Apparently is about a 1% chance. Tubes can even grow back.

she had the scan BECAUSE SHE WAS ALREADY PREGNANT WITH AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY THATS WHEN SHE HAD THE TUBE REMOVED WHY THE f**k WOULD HER BODY OVULATE AGAIN IF SHE HAD ALREADY CONCIEVED?????? yeah i know you can ovulate twice but not 6 weeks apart the dates dont make sense do some scientific research before you argue it is possible because its NOT she aint no miracle it takes the piss that she tries to claim this , ive lost babies and it broke my heart every time but i would never EVER say that i managed to concieve again even though it is physically impossible then try and belittle the ones who are talking sense, dont for one second think that i or any like minded person will believe that she is pregnant through gods will because we all know it really doesnt work like that. nothing wrong with having faith and hope but to take it to this extreme??? nah and yeah you researched if it is possible...lol if you read on it will say through in vitro fertilisation........not naturally ...........

Yep. They're called anovulatory cycles. Pretty common, actually. You can even have the LH surge to show a positive OPK, not ovulate, and still get your period. OH SNAP!

yeah and for using common sense we are nasty  whatever lol

Salpingectomy

A more extreme form of surgery is a salpingectomy. This involves the removal of one or both of the fallopian tubes to stop the spread of further infection.
This is only to be considered as a last resort, as the removal of both fallopian tubes will mean you will no longer be able to get pregnant naturally.
yup i GOOGLED IT
