I know that babies can sometimes produce milk as well because of the passing of hormones from breastfeeding but I can't find how long it generally lasts anyone know?

My son stopped at about 4 weeks pp. I didn't even realize he had milk in them until the last few days a couple drops came out of one! But 4 weeks pp is when he stopped having boobies, now they are completely flat.

This is all it said on Dr Sears' website:

NEWBORN'S SWOLLEN BREASTS
Because of a surge of breast-enlarging hormones at birth, your baby's breasts may become swollen, firm, and lumpy within a week after birth. A baby's breasts may even produce a few drops of milk. These are normal physiologic changes in both male and female babies. The swelling should subside within a few weeks.

So just got home from my 6 week pp and midwife said it can take up to six months for it to stop.
