My son is 6 weeks today and if I sit him in the middle of my bed elevated on his boppy pillow he will sit there very content and watch the tv that is about 4-5 feet away, can he see it clearly? Or is it still blurry?

Not clearly. All he would see would be blurs of colours. But I don't think sittig him that close is good for his eyes!

Hold him in your arms.. he can see about as far as your face. The rest of it is a complete & total blur.

No, I wouldn't have him that close to the TV either though. The first couple of months are very important as far as eye development goes. Though it is a myth that sitting too close to the TV can cause blindness it definitely isn't great for the eyes.

That close to the tv probably isn't good for him. Blurred vision or not.

What does a 6 week old even watch? My 18 month old doesn't even watch tv yet...

my son watched the food network with me everyday at 6 weeks old.

op: his eyes can't focus on anything that far away yet. but it does keep them calm for a little bit.

Mine will be 7 weeks on Monday, so she's not old enough to really have likes or dislikes yet as far as that stuff goes! But I plan on giving her as much musical education as I can . . she's loved music since she was in the womb. And I'd like to her have opportunities I didn't.

the only thing i want for my son as of right now is to go to college. i havent yet. i plan to when he is a little older and i am more independent. once i think my kids are old enough for me to go back to work and bring in extra money, i think i will start taking online classes. my hubby didn't go to college either. i don't think he wants to.

I started online college right before I found out I was pregnant, I took a short LOA when she was born but I go back on the 31st again. While I'm looking forward to it, I'm also not >< argh.
