We took him to the doctor and they just told us to give him Tylenol as needed. We asked the nurse how much and she said to just follow the weight directions on the box. My husband double checked with her and asked if they would have his weight on the box and if she is sure. She assured us they would. Well after going to walmart and reading all of the infant and children's tylenol boxes none of them goes under 2 years and 24 pounds. I am frusterated because we asked plenty of times for dosage in the office and she kept telling us it would be on the box. Well it's not on the box and I don't know how much to give him.
P.S. I know my son is a big hoss...lol..
None go under 2 years and 24lbs? Are you giving him the correct Tylenol? They have some for under 24lbs.
I'd call to be sure but I think it's 1.25 ml. It's definitely the first dosage on the dropper, but call to be positive!
my doctor told me to do the same thing for my son, they told me 1,75 ml when he was the same weight and age. Double check with your dr tho.
None. You can't give kids under 2 tylenol. Give motrin instead. :)
My daughter is 8 months and 17 pounds 3 ounces and she gets 2.5 ml based on age and weight.
0.8 mL 12-17lbs

I haven't given him any. I went to walmart and spent 20 minutes in the medicine isle and the baby section looking at different medicines. They have infant Tylenol and Children's Tylenol both have the same under 2 and 24 pounds consult doctor, the only difference is one comes with a syringe. We can't give him Ibprophen. All of the ones I've seen have the same restrictions.

Orly? Cause that's what three different doctors have told me...
it's 10-15 mg/kg/dose
so if it's the concentrated infant drops, give about 0.8
