So, I've heard good things about them. DD is only a month old, but I'm a compulsive planner, haha. I know that those who say they work well also say that you have to make sure that you're getting a real one - so, if you've used one and were pleased with it, where did you get it? Thanks so much!

Tried it, didn't like it. I don't think it worked for us. I got it from a local store.

We have one, got it on Amazon. DD just cut her first tooth this weekend and was happy as a clam :D She went 2 days without wearing it last week and was so cranky! Then I put it on her and about 8 hours later she was back to her happy self.

ETA: It's not very long, so she doesn't notice it

Which one do you have? This is the only thing I haven't tried with DJ....and that's only cause I wasn't sure which one to get. I'm ordering one today though. Does it matter which one you buy or just that it's baltic amber?

I have a hazel wood necklace on my son he is 3.5 months and he was teething hard. He was up for a week every few hours in pain and not eating and just crying in what sounded like pain. He has been wearing the necklace for about 2-3 weeks and he is back to normal eating and sleeping again!.. I have heard only good things about the hazel wood and the amber is for only teething but not approved and the hazel wood is also hazel wood is good for a lot of other things then just teething.

That's the seller I ordered from, I've heard from a few mamas on here that they've bought necklaces from art of the cure as well. It was delivered in less than a week AND that was during the holidays.

This is the one Brooklyn has.

Here's more info about the colors, what they do, etc.

I researched them from months before I gave in and bought one!

I'm gonna have to hold off for now....dang it! I found the perfect one that's baltic amber and hazelwood. Hubs said no go. He thinks it's weird to put a necklace on a baby and he thinks it's not safe. He said no one is going to put anything around his son's neck. He said he was going to throw the computer in the trash if I didn't stop worrying about every little thing. He's still mad at how much $ I spent on colic stuff. What he doesn't know is I'm the one dealing with the baby all day, not him. So, if there's something I can do to help DJ, I'm gonna try it. I didn't want to argue with him so I'll just wait til he calms himself down. Ugggh!

Aww :( That sucks. Sorry! If we could share ours, we would :D My whole family freaks out when they see the necklace on her. "She's gonna choke herself" "Why would you let her chew on that??" "Babies don't need to wear necklaces"
She doesn't know it's there. She honestly doesn't. She has never once put it in her mouth, it's too short to get into her mouth from her neck anyways. She looks at it when I put it on her ankle at bedtime, but that's it. It drives me nuts that they think I don't know what I'm doing!

That's what bothered me so much about it. It's not like I would suggest trying something that would choke our baby  :? I heard about them from a friend and she said the jury was still out as to whether it worked or not. But, this was a couple months ago and her daughter had colic too so it may not have seemed like it was helping. Whateves. I don't like arguing with him anyway. Nothing good ever comes out of it and he's a jerk when we disagree. I'll just deal. Thanks for the links. Maybe I'll get a chance to get one some day. :)

I love Amber teething necklaces.
It doesnt work for all babies, but its soo worth trying.
My DD has absolutely no teething pains, no dribbling or anything when she has it on.
I only realised today that her 2 top teeth are through, no fussing about them at all.
I got mine off ebay, i seriously dont know what i'd do without it. I dont have to buy any gels, or teething rings or anything!
I dont have many pictures, but here is Ella wearing hers.
