I went to a personal trainer on Wednesday, my parents are going to pay for as many sessions as I want but I didnt really like it. I mean it got me to work my butt off but it seems like such a waste of money and its such a pain to go to the gym. (Its at my country club so I dont pay extra to go to the gym, that would be a waste bc of how often I go lol ) But Im going to have him give me a set of exercises to do with free weights at home, I think I will stick with it more if its something I can do at home. I did get a good work out in though, I am SO sore omg.

Wow lucky duck! I'd go, if it's up to you to do at home would you really do it?

And I'm with you on inches over pounds!

If its at home vs going to the gym, I definitely am more likey to do it at home. I LOVE that my new job is only 10 minutes away so I want to have to drive 25 minutes one way to the gym, kwim? I just got away from driving alot. I know Im being lazy but hey at least Im honest? Im going to see how it goes and maybe keep going once a week for a few weeks and see how it goes/if I really keep up with it at home

I've looked into a personal trainer, but they're so expensive! I'd want one at least 4 times a week at at the minimum of $25 a session.. adds up quick, lol!

I hope it goes well for you though! :D

Quoting Katerina Petrova:" Thank you! Good luck to you, what was your starting weight?"

My highest weight was 217-218, when I joined this thread I was 192 and I bumped back up to 205 before my DH deployed last May and was down to 165 in February (when DH got home) and maintained it until the beginning of April, then his good cooking got the best of me

That's what I always tell everyone! Just drink that water

I'm kind of kicking myself in the butt though, we're going to start TTC in July and I was supposed to be under 140 and that's impossible now to get there. I'm aiming to hit the 150's by my best friends wedding the end of June and honestly if I could be 149 when I get a positive pregnancy test, I'll be happy!

I would think once a week at the gym right now and then doing something at home twice a week would be perfect for you. Only reason if I was you that I would make the trip once a week would be because they can continually change up your routine based on what you need! Also it helps keep ya accountable to someone. I'm so happy that you love your new job that is sooo important to overall happiness!!
