Green smoothies and TONS of water!



I have a green smoothie for breakfast and lunch, which is actually extremely convenient for me since I can drink them at work. I do a different one every day, so I don't get bored.



Then I have a 32oz water bottle, that I fill up at least 3 times a day.



Then for dinner I eat what my family is having, but I cut it down. We eat pretty healthy anyways, like whole grain, lean meats, etc. But, I'll do one cup of what they're having and then I half of my plate with a salad (I dip my fork in the dressing, instead of pouring it all over the plate) and cooked veggies.



For exercise, I do a lot of walking (up and down stairs) at my job and since my husband is gone for training, it's been hard to figure out a steady work out plan at home, but I've been switching between Power90 (like P90X but for the weaklings. :lol:) and the 30 Day Shred.



As it gets warmer, we'll be doing nightly walks too. :D

I really like P90, I'm hoping while my DH is deployed, I'll be able to successfully do P90X though. :lol:



And I figure once I stop losing, I'll just switch to no carbs for a while, just to boost it back up. It seems like that works for a lot of people.



But yeah, I really miss spending time outside! :lol:

I know I'm a little late, but could I join? It would be nice to be in one of these from the start, instead of trying to join when there are already a bunch of girls who know each other in them!

hey sorry im a little late.. its been a long day...
my starting weight today is 186lbs.
i dont have a weekly goal or anything but ill start that in a few weeks. right now is just really hectic with BD drama.

Yeah, it's hard when a group is already tight knit to sort of "break in" and become a part of it. Especially since a lot of times they've already got a swing going. I'm excited to get into a group so we can all motivate each other!

I understand how you feel, just know that while all the crazy drama is going around that you maybe can't control, one thing you can control is taking better care of yourself! Start out small and just take it a day at a time!
