Tattoos in honor of your children. Vodka Knockers 1 child; North Carolina 8066 posts

I want to get a tattoo in honor of my son.
I've been trying to think of what to get, and where to get, but I'm stumped. I usually like to get tattoos that no one else in my town/area will have, something not over used like a butterfly, etc, but I'm thinking I may have to get something common.
I wanted to get his name/birthdate in a bracelet style on my wrist, but I'm scared it'll look terrible. So now, I'm thinking about getting his hand print or foot print from the hospital when he was first born and having it tattooed somewhere with his name, but I'm not sure where.
Any ideas, suggestions, creativity to throw out? I have a tattoo on my chest and another on the back of my neck so those places are taken.

I have my sons foot prints, his initials and dob on the inside of my right ankle.
I might do the same for my daughter, or something else.. not sure yet.

I have my oldest son's footprint tattooed on my hip. I need to get it updated with my other two kids' feet, too....ahh, the need to have time and money simultaneously!

I want to get my LO's name and birth date tattooed on my shoulder. Nothing wild or crazy, just in cursive maybe.

I couldn't do ankle, I want to show it to people but I RARELY shave my legs and I don't want to expose that jungle, someone may fall in (Lol). I'm thinking my hip, but I'm scared my jeans would rub it too much when I first get the tattoo and mess it up.
Forearms is another consideration, but I don't think it'd look right and it'd be hard to cover.
I DO have a small area above my collarbones on both sides of my chest that would be a good area, AND it'd be right above an anatomically correct heart tattoo I have on the center of my chest.

Jesus wouldn't want you to damage your body in honor of anyone.

Oh good, I didn't want to be a jerk and point it out but yeah, you can find a much better artist.

lol. Good. You can find someone who can make a few changes that will make it look better. Like making the lines thicker all over, so you can't tell that they aren't smooth lines, you know? Someone can improve it greatly.
