Just had it put in about two weeks ago. Started cramping yesterday 2/29/12. Started bleeding 3/1/12. Just went to check the strings and i can FEEL the end of the "T" like the plastic part not just the strings. Its 4am. Not sure if this is ER worthy or if i should just wait till morning.

When I had my first paragard it fell out and the Dr told me just to take it easy till the next day ( when he could see me to get it taken out and what not.) just try not to move too much ( kick your feet up and read a book or watch TV) until you can call your Dr and see what she or he wants you to do. It shouldn't hurt you in any way at all.

Quoting Kristal Ryan:" When I had my first paragard it fell out and the Dr told me just to take it easy till the next day ( ... [snip!] ... book or watch TV) until you can call your Dr and see what she or he wants you to do. It shouldn't hurt you in any way at all. "

it hurts. This is worse then contractions. Im half tempted to just finish pulling it out. Ive worked 6 ten hour shifts lifting 40 pound blocks of cheese since having it put in.. pretty sure that may not have helped.

Eek, don't pull it out yourself....if it really hurts then you should probably go in, better safe then having you do it yourself and causing damage where damage shouldn't be.
