Burger King was the worst f**king job of my existence. I felt like a f**king slave! ONE 30 minute break, on my feet ALL f**king DAY, seriously? even I deserve more than that.

My feet feel like I've been kicking rocks all day and they're stiff! Should I stick this shit out or call it a f**king day?

It is easier to find another job while you already have a job. If you hate it, put in your two weeks notice so they cant say anything bad if you use them as a reference in the future.

Yes but the working conditions are some of the worst I've ever seen. They don't allow you to sit unless you're on break. So I was on my feet for 7 1/2 hours. And they have the audacity to charge me for food! :x I got an application for another place and got reassurances that they're hiring from someone that plans to quit lol. I'm working at bk this whole weekend but that'll be it. hopefully this place calls before Sunday

Oh honestly.

They pay you to work, not to eat. Why should they foot the bill for your lunch??

LOL thats fast food for you. Of course they charge you for food. Every fast food place I ever worked has. But they usually give you a 50%discount on break. I've been back @ bk for two years, you just described my every day. The big question is: how bad do you need money and how much are you willing to deal with for said money?

Oh, I missed the part that she JUST got on the job.

Honestly, any min wage job like that ((fast food, Gas station, movie theater, waitressing)) is all the same way with the standing up thing. Your feet become numb to it after a couple weeks. Also, gel insoles help out a ton and some comfy socks!

sorry.. but lol! where have you worked before? MANY jobs make you stand unless on break. um... actually I think most?

I used to work in shoes.. and coudlnt' sit unless on break. ..and OMG>. they had the audacity to charge me for the shoes I wanted too!!

now I'm a nurse... they still charge me for healthcare.

even at Applebees.. I had to pay for food I ate.

It's money until you can find something else better. I work 9-11 hour shifts on my feet all day selling animals and animal shit. Or in the back room doing inventory and lifting bags of rock and sand and dog food. It sucks but it pays the bill. And most places only give you 30min breaks.
Stick it out at least until you can find something you like better, Your feet will get used to it after a week or so.
