walmart took mine back with no problem and it was opened... I had bought one and had it in the car and everything then somebody bought me one that I liked better... So it all depends on the store.

Quoting I♡C.:" Ours takes back used seats. I've done it before (except something broke on mine and that's why it was returned)."

During the great Trade-In? Yeah they'll take any used stuff, but they aren't allowed to re-sell them.

Quoting mama gee.:" They can sell floor models. We bought two for 34 dollars total. My husband is a manager at TRU. They can sell floor models as long as they are undamaged and not expired. "

If the company who made the carseat knew they were selling the "floor" models they could get it HUGE trouble. It is like selling something marked "not for individual sale".

They can't sell the new models or the models they get stock for. They can sell floor models of old prints or discontinued products. They can do that with all of their baby items.

I regretted that I bought car seat from toyrus (babiesrus). Gave me another chance I will never buy a car seat from toyrus (babiesrus). I bought one and found out that it didn't fit to my baby. The next business day I went to return, and they refused! I used to think it is safe to buy from them because it is easy to return since they are not small company. But I know I am naive now.

Quoting La~La:" ummm....toys r us/babies r us isnt allowed to take back carseats....it doesnt matter if you havent even ... [snip!] ... left the store with it. if youve purchased it, then youre stuck with it. the computer systems will not let them process them."
