I plan to have November completely planned, written, and all things ready and copied by the end of October. Then I can completely focus on what I need for my maternity leave the first 2 ish weeks of November. I don't want to risk not being done planning and go into labor at 38 weeks....

I will also do as much as I can to help me prepare and plan for when I come back. I don't want to be overwhelmed so having lessons premade will be wonderful!

I almost bought one like that but liked mine better. I thought those other ones might be a little too hot for baby, too.

Wow you bring up a good point. I've been trying to prepare lessons for while I'm gone but never thought about having some ready for when I come BACK. How long are you taking off?

Good deal!

I hope someone buys the diaper bag we want but I'm not being too hopeful! I kind of see us buying most of what's left on our registry by ourselves. Hopefully we get some gift cards at least!!

I feel like I'm the only one not have a sprinkle or a shower. My brother and sister-in-law have given us some clothes but since my nephew was born in May most of them aren't warm enough for the winter. We also saved everything from our first son so we really don't need a lot. My step-sister and her husband have also promised to buy us the monitor that we want. Other than that I don't think anybody is getting us anything. Hopefully somebody will buy us some diapers because so far we have very little as far as those go.

I hope you get some gifts! I usually buy friends/family a gift to take when I see the baby for the first time if they didn't have a shower (or invite me...)

We didn't save anything. I don't think my sister wants me to have a shower at all but idc. This will help offset some of the costs and I want a celebration dammit!

Could you not just ask people to give you vouchers from the place you want to buy it from?
Atleast then you aren't asking for anything specific you could just tell them that there's a few bits you really like from there!

I'm not having a baby shower this time. This pregnancy has just gone so quick I haven't even had time to think about it. I don't really have much I need anyway as I have it all from when my boy was a baby.

I love the reindeer outfit!

I still haven't decided what in going to bring baby home in or what we first outfit will be when she has just been born. I want to find a cute babygro with a matching hat as I want to be able to cover up her come head if she has one! Lol

I have sooooo many babygros in first size that I shouldn't really buy any more but I still haven't found that perfect first outfit.

I think I have about 15 first size babygros which only go up to 7.5 lbs! Is that silly? They have said she is small but I dont know how much of that you can rely on.

I decided not to have one in the end! I would have to organise it and I rather just relax and enjoy the last of the pregnancy than stress over a sprinkle. I thought I might do a "meet the baby" morning tea a few weeks PP?
