Just stay positive mama, I too had a premie! He was born at 32 weeks and spent 5 weeks and 1 day in the nicu. It is hard, but you gotta stay strong and positive for you child. Everything will be ok and it is tough, and it does seem like a lifetime, but just keep in mind that it is for the best. My son had to have a blood transfusion and everything, he also got ecoli while in the nicu and only got iv fluids for the first 3 weeks because everytime they tried to tube feed him he wouldn't digest it. It is one of the hardest things i have ever went through, but just think, you will have a healthy baby HOME soon :)

I know im late on responding to this.
But it is hard. I had my son on March 1st at 28 weeks and he is still in NICU. You just have to take it day by day and try not to think to far ahead about what is going to or could happen. You will just freak yourself out. Just focus on how good he is doing, talk to the nurses and ask questions. Doing that has helped me to feel better and more secure about the people taking care of him. \
And you just got to keep looking forward to the day when he is able to come home with you, and know that everyday he is in there means that he will be that much stronger and more able to come home. And when he is able to go home you will know he is healthy.

Thats great that he is already on a bottle. Has he had to be on any breathing assistance, caffeine or IV's?
