My son is seven weeks old and his skin feels like sandpaper. In some spots he has tiny little red bumps that you can barely see. I am thinking he has a light case of eczema all over his body. My first son had eczema on his face when he was young in three spots. They kept getting worse till the Pedi. gave me a cortisone cream that wiped it out quickly and it never came back. Mason's skin does not seem to be getting worse but its not getting better either. Its really weird he feels seriously like sandpaper all over. Anybody else experience this?

Is he formula fed? I know my nephew had a "rash" all over his body and it was from the type of formula he was on. He was also stuffed up constantly (seemed like a cold) but it was from the formula.

My son had/has this weird dry skin on his forhead and hairline there was a name for it but I cant remember it didnt have red bumps but it was bumpy and rough and his Dr. recommended Aveeno lotion and head-to-toe shampoo and it has gotten alot better its almost gone. I love the stuff!! If it is eczema Aveeno has a lotion for that as well you should try it out.

No, he is only breastfed. I guess maybe he could be allergic to something I am eating.
