Late term abortion, feeling awful BG Secrets Arizona 4906 posts

I had a late term abortion last week. I was 15 weeks. I'm in so much pain, I can't eat anything, I feel so dizzy when I stand up. I'm not bleeding much anymore, but I feel like this isn't normal. Should I go to the ER? I feel awful, and my doctor said I should be feeling back to myself within a week. Do you think maybe I've just caught a bug or something, and it's unrelated to the abortion?

*PS I posted this on BG Secrets because I would really rather people not know that I had a late term abortion.. I know how many people would be after me for that.*

15 weeks is not a LTA. Good luck to you anyway.

My doctor said a late term abortion occurs between 14 and 20 weeks gestation.

It's your emotions. Your hormones are trying to rearrange themselves.
You are depressed.
Try eating something and laying down for a bit.

I'm not depressed, mentally I feel fine. I have an appetite, but when I eat something I throw it up.

having an abortion doesn't automatically equal depression, lol.

OP, if you're feeling off and it's been over a week or so, call your doctor and see what he thinks. I've never had an abortion, so Im not sure what's normal / not normal, but i would think if it's been over a week it's probably not normal to be this dizzy and unable to eat.

I would say if you're not feeling well, you should call your doctor. If you feel like it's serious enough, go to the ER, because infection is always possible. Hope you feel better. :)

When I had my abortion I felt pretty crappy for a few days, and I wasn't that late. I was only 6 weeks along. It's your dropping hormones, meds, depending on the procedure it could be related to that.... since you are later I'm sure it's that. If I recall it is pretty normal to feel yucky for about a week to two weeks after.

How is your bleeding? Do you have a temperature? Do you have an bad discharge?

If you want to PM me from your regular account (I won't judge you, I promise) I can point you in the direction of an abortion message board where you might be able to get some better answers and experiences. I just don't want to PM someone on the secret account and have them possibly troll the board. I trust people here but at the same time... I don't, ya know?

I understand if you don't trust me, but I am just wanting to help. No judgment and I won't tell anyone who you are if you PM me. I think the other board can really help me. Heck, if you just want to vent to me and ask for my experience I can talk too!

**hugs**

I hope you feel better soon!
