Have to definitely say NOOOPEEE. I had such a strong urge that my baby girl was going to be a baby boy..I FELT like it was a boy and saying "she" didn't sound right to me at all...along with many people having dreams that I was having a boy, too. I'm having a little miss Bayleigh girl in July. Haha. :)

If mother's instinct was always right.... My baby would have started out a girl, died, boy, died, girl.....

Hahaha... I always think the baby is dead and I always flip flop between what I think it is.

Go with your instinct, not your desire.

That doesn't work for me...

I don't particularly desire to have either gender if I'm completely honest.. I'm 100% content with another little boy, they are so much fun! .. but.. i'd also be 100% content with a little girl.

For me i've given up hahaha, i actually have no intuition what so ever..

its quite sad really LOL!

In my case I was right. Before I knew what I was having, my mom would always touch my belly and tell me to take care of her little girl, I was like ummmmm NO mom, stop calling him that, it's a boy! I was right, but for a while I also thought it was going to be a girl because I wanted a boy so bad lol. I definitely wouldn't say mother's instincts are always right though.

My husband swore up and down when I got pregnant that it would be a girl from the start. I knew it could go both ways, but when we were on our way to the ultrasound to find out the gender and everything, I knew it was going to be a boy and I was teasing my hubby about it the entire way there.

He wouldn't believe me until the ultrasound. The moment the monitor was placed on my belly and saw his legs up and crossed over his chest, I knew that my baby was a he and not a she.

So I think Mother's Instinct can be right for the most part, but sometimes it just doesn't really matter too much when trying to predict the gender of your child lol.

It worked for ME but i had strong intuition. I guess it doesnt help ya if you have no real thoughts though

At least you'll be happy either way!! :D

When i was pregnant with my daughter i had a strong feeling she was a girl...i was right. Now i am 15 weeks pregnant with second child and i have had a strong feeling this one is a boy. When i went for my NT scan i was told based on angle of the dangle the tech is pretty sure its a boy. So hopefully in 3 weeks i find out he is a boy!!!

Not always... But with this pregnancy I felt the same way as with my son. I KNEW DEEP DOWN IT WAS A BOY, but like your story my DH kept saying "its a girl...its a girl" so I finally caved in and asked for a gender check and definitely a BOY!
