WHen you had LO did the hospital have a social worker come talk to you? One came to talk to me when I had LO and they said it was because I am under 20? Then again the night I got induced I was having panic attacks and freaking out. and that when they first said anything about one that was a thursday and she didnt come till saterday evening right before I left.
I don't know. What did she ask you or say? I had all kinds of people come to the room for me to sign things and blah blah blah. I think one might have to or it could of been a case worker for insurance or something I don't know.
i think so with my 1st...i was 19...
they said they do it for everyone...i know they have to ask if you are safe but this caseworker was like really are you being hurt are you being forced to do things you dont want to...i was like O.O NO
pretty sure it was because i was 19 and DH was 31
I had one come to see me when I delivered my son at 18. She asked me some pretty standard questions; such as "Do you feel safe in your home?" "Are you able to afford clothing, food, diapers etc." "Does your home have running water, heat, electricity." "What kind of sleeping arrangements do you have for the baby."
When I had my daughter at 22, the nurse asked me a couple of the same questions when I arrived at the hospital... but that was just standard procedure. There was no social worker afterwards.
I had one talk to me too but only with my first (I was 19) my 2nd I was 23.

I never had anyone ask me those questions before... hmm. Just the "do you feel safe" question... that is it. but I'm sure a nurse did.
O ok I feel better that it wasnt just because I was freaking out lol She asked about me and BD and my life.
I was 19 when I had DD. One came in and talked to me. She was sitting there trying to educate me on a whole bunch of shit that I already knew.
