Im very active with my daily life style, but at 23 weeks Im starting to feel abit outta shape. I really want to start doing prenatal yoga or even polities , but after looking online i didnt get the feedback i was expecting. So please help me out with your advice. I want something that isnt going to just be a walk through the park, i need something thats actually going to work. Thanks!
You're pregnant? You're not supposed to start new workouts if you're pregnant. You need to take it easy. Prenatal yoga is good. Not Pilates.
Did you do yoga or pilates before pregnancy?
And you're pregnant. Not out of shape
You shouldn't be starting a new workout while you are pregnant
walk, light squats, lots of healthy eating
Go walking or do yoga

Prenatal yoga is a great way to "workout" while pregnant. I wouldn't suggest a hardcore workout during pregnancy. You risk over heating or hurting yourself. Brisk walking is also a great way to keep active. Please don't go crazy.
Thanks! I just assumed the more exercise the better. I picked up a notice at the doctors for prenatal yoga, thought it would be a good idea to get a head start on streatching before the baby comes so im more prepared. Is it still considered a new workout if i do the beginners video. I work at a village as a laborer so im very very active. Im just starting to get a little worried that im not doing the right exercise
I agree with the other ladies. Starting a workout plan that you didn't do pre-pregnancy can cause more harm than good. A very low key prenatal yoga would be fine, along with eating right and walking. Pilates will have to wait, as will any high impact or hardcore cardio if you didn't do them before.

Not true at all. You can really hurt yourself or the baby by doing something new.
Just do what you have been doing. Walk, stretch, ask you doctor about a prenatal yoga class.
No exercises where you lay flat on your back while pregnant.....that is what my OB said to me. No exercise where both feet come off the floor at the same time.
I did Yoga while pregnant. but I was doing on that before I got pregnant and just continued.
