It depends on the amount.
If you are on state insurance they automatically test the babys meconium.

With my first son I smoked once at 21 23 and 24 weeks.
They did the test, nothing was said, nothing was done.

I don't know how far along you are but im sure as long as you don't do it again you will be fine.

Meconium starts to build up in the baby's system around 4 months gestation. I have a lot of real life situations with this.

I had one friend in KC, MO. She was on probation though, they tested the meconium and it came back positive. She actually got the baby taken away after they opened a case against her.

I had another friend that had her baby in Texas. She was 36 weeks and she and child tested positive for it. They opened a case and then closed it 6 months later. She had to take random drug tests and go take parenting classes.

I had another friend that had her baby early at 26 weeks, in Texas. She came up positive for it and her child did not. She also had a CPS case open and then they closed it 6 months later after she passsed her final drug test as well as her SO.

Here in Texas it doesn't matter if you are on medicaid, they do test the baby. Atleast that is what the nurses tell me here in Houston, Rio Grande Valley and one in Austin told me as well. They do it as a safety procaution for the child and mother so they are aware of what is going on in their body and they don't give them medication on top of it that can harm them.

Quoting ~~Lmnop~~:" I was a major pot head back in the day and I have no fuckin clue what you mean by vape?"

This. I smoked for 12 years, daily, multiple times. I also toked while pregnant, tested + on a urine sample, my dr didn't care, and nothing was ever said to me about it after my kids were born. I lived in IL at the time.

A vaporizer or vapouriser is a device used to extract for inhalation the active ingredients of plant material, commonly cannabis, tobacco, or other herbs or blends.
Vaporization is an alternative to burning (smoking) that avoids the production of irritating toxic and carcinogenic by-products by heating the material so its active compounds boil off into a vapor. No combustion occurs, so no smoke or taste of smoke is present. Vapor ideally contains virtually zero particulate matter or tar, and significantly lower concentrations of noxious gases such as carbon monoxide. Vaporizers contain various forms of extraction chambers including straight bore, venturi, or sequential venturi, and are made of materials such as metal or glass. The extracted vapor may be collected in a jar or inflatable bag, or inhaled directly through a hose or pipe. With little to no smoke produced and cooler temperatures, less material is required to achieve a given level of effect. Hence, the irritating and harmful effects of smoking are reduced,[1][2][3][4][5] as is secondhand smoke.
