I did not see the do-it-yourself abortion thread, but that's stupid & I'm sure it was not all rainbows & puppy talk. You risk your child's health when you try & induce yourself & it should only be done by a dr for medical reasons only. Those people are incredibly selfish & are only worrying about their own comfort or wanting to meet their baby before it's time. I have no clue why someone would want to do their own abortion, but I can only hope that was fake.

I understand that. But i would think that killing your baby yourself is selfish too. Im all for pro choice, but just in my eyes, if i were to abort my baby myself i would never be able to live with myself for killing my own child. I dunno i was just curious what makes one better than the other ? or one worse than the other.

That "baby" wouldn't live outside the womb, but say someone who is 39 weeks and is just tired of being pregnant and wants to try and induce the only thing that will happen is they'll get pissed off or more then likely end up with a c-section.

Like I said read the hidden posts. She got "attacked" but it wasn't as bad because it was a protected forum. Also, she ended up agreeing she needs to go to a clinic to get it done since it's past the 8 week mark and needed to be done surgically.

For someone who is supposedly pro choice you're saying some awfully cunty and yes, ignorant things on the subject of abortion.

Seriously? "Killing your child" and "I'm all for pro-choice"... Do you listen to yourself?

BIG difference in wanting to self induce too early and someone wanting to self abort at home. BOTH are unsafe, however....

ETA: Esp twins as far along as said woman.

It's comparing apples to oranges. Inducing abortion to avoid having a child is a totally different ballgame than inducing labor because you're tired of being pregnant.

It was not selfish in the least. She knew she couldn't keep her babies, but felt, in a way, that if she did the abortion herself she was keeping them from any harm a Doctor might do. She was trying to do it out of love, not selfishness. She was scared people would judge her if she went to a clinic. If someone's contemplating an abortion, they have enough shit to deal with without people thinking they're selfish.

Dude, it's selfish to have kids that you don't want or can't afford, or can't raise in a good environment.
