DD turned 3 last week. We we're doing pretty good with the potty a few months ago and for a couple of weeks she'd go on the potty a couple times a day. For some reason she stopped. Now any time I ask her if she needs to go she'll tell me no, i've only been able to get her to sit on the potty a hand full of times since then.

The thing is she will tell me when she's pooped and peed. She SCREAMS when I try and offer big girl undies and won't wear them. I don't get it. I don't want to say she's lazy but it seems like she's become used to us changing her when she said she's pooped.

I'm scared to do the whole let her run around naked thing because im worried she'll hold it.

My son was the same way. He would scream like it was acid on him bum. I forced him to wear them and let him scream. Then I would set times in the day (like 30 min after lunch time) and make him sit there til he went potty. Then gave him one gummy bear after. Took awhile but it worked in the end.

I would try the naked thing and see what happens.

I did manage to get her to put undies on and she peed in them. But, one step at a time I guess?

thats okay accidents happen. At least she wore them! I wouldn't turn back now cause if you do you'll never get there. DD wears undies all the time except for nap and night time. She'll get it. We put her potty in the living room or close to wherever she was at first so she didn't have to go far

I have hers in the kitchen (sounds gross but i'm a clorox wipe freak). I'm so lost on potty training. Lol

I used the booklet "3 day potty training" with my son at 23m and he did great. If you are interested in it, I can email it to you. It's only 40 pages, so it's easy to read through and see if it's something for you.
