I haven't been through it but I just wanted to say sorry. I know sympathy from a stranger on the internet means nothing but there it is.

Be well.

I've never been through anything like this but I just wanted to say I'm so sorry you had to go through this. I hope the pain gets better for you soon too.

I lost my daughter at 19 weeks. I don't remember being that tender inside afterwards. I felt pretty normal actually. Take some Motrin and try taking a nap. I'm not sure you should be in the bath yet either. Probably just a shower.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. PM me if you need to talk or vent.

I'm sorry for your loss, hun.

I don't have personal experience, but I say it wouldn't hurt to call your doc and mention it.

Im sorry for your loss.

I had a stillbirth at 34 weeks. I bled for 3 weeks afterwards. Was told NO baths, only showers. When you say they had to go inside you to take out the placeta, do you mean they had to give you a c-section? or that they had to manually help you with the delivery of the placenta?
If you had a c-section, it would make sense that it hurts when you couh, becuase theat would cause the skin to stretch a little and tug at the staples.
If they manually helped with placenta delivery, I dont see why that would cause pain when you cough, but its always possible that because you are still healing, your body is reacting with pain. Although, I would call my dr and ask them about it to be 100% sure.

I would call the drs or nuse hotline and explain what is going on, and see if they recommend being seen.

My drs had to manually remove a portion of my placenta as well, but i dont remember that kind of pain. However, It was 6years ago, so there is alot I dont remember anymore...

I'm so sorry for your loss :( i agree with the other ladies on here, call your doctor just to be sure, and also ask about taking baths, i'm not sure you're supposed to be taking baths due to infection, but i'm not 100% positive.

This is what I was told too, after my stillbirth and after each of my misscarriages... No baths until the bleeding stops due to risk of infection. Showers only.

Thinking about it, OP, it sounds like its possible that you do have an infection. That could cause pain. Did they give you antibiotics after you delivered?

When I had a stillborn at 34 weeks, my placenta had abrupted so they had to do a uterine sweep to get out of the blood clots out of me. Which is where the doctor stuck his hands up inside of me and removed the blood clots him self. It was so painful and was really tender for awhile after. I was told any blood clots bigger than a quarter then to go get seen.
