Quoting Amelia Margaret:" I believe it has more to do with making sure you're not pregnant."

Kinda stupid in our situation... we're not getting pregnant unless someone puts sperm in me smh. Looks like the end of May might be the time... my RE said she wants to wait 3 months after the surgery but we're going to be pretty close.

I had two very positive tests a few years ago (Clearblue... not evaps) so I went and got a FR and it was a BFN. Heartbreaking.

Is it possible to not get a positive OPK and still ovulate?
I haven't taken one today (CD 27) but did up until yesterday (sometimes 2 a day) and nothing.

Why would you jump to IVF, if you never have had a HSG/HSN?

Need to crawl before you walk, IVF is really invasive if all you have is something that can be fixed with belly button surgery, like a bicornuate uterus. This isn't an attack btw, it is just something I advocate for a lot because IVF is expensive and very last resort to me. I would want to be sliced open before I even thought about IVF.

Reproductive medicine has no step procedure that is used widely and varies clinic to clinic, but again I refused to see a RE who told me after 1 failed IUI that I Oed during, that I needed IVF, it is all about their bottom line,Charlatans.

So I was just reading throught the costs for my ivf and there's a $1450 difference between doing a 3 day transfer and 5-7 day transfer. What's the difference or advantage?

I did 6 months of chlomid I had an HSG 2 years ago and they weren't sure whether one do my tubes were blocked. Then I did 5 IUIs. I have been TTC for almost 4 years now and never been pregnant. I've also had 3 surgeries to remove endometriosis and scar tissue in the last 3 years.

Why not? Because that's what the dr wants to do. They said the soon will be able to see if there are any fibroids or other problems with my uterus.

Not be snarky but I would think surgeries to remove endo and scar tissue would of shown that.

No one has ever looked inside my uterus. All my endo was outside.
