IUI will be only a week or so after that. I'm really looking forward to the end of next month!"</blockquote>

Me too we are going to Cabo San Lucas the last week of May so I'm waiting to start IVF til then. Plus I have 2 foster kids in school right now, one of whom is going back home as soon as schools out. So it's hard to plan 5 hour trips to see my RE while they're still in school.

Advice needed! Started spotting/cramping today, so most likely tomorrow will be CD1 (RE counts day 1 as first day of full flow).
In that case - our transfer day will fall on a black out date @ work for DH. He works for the state and has certain days throughout the year that he cannot take off. Feeling uneasy and sad! I SO want him to be there, but I can't imagine putting this off another freaking month. Not to mention in a couple of weeks we have to start paying our RE a monthly storage fee to keep our embryos frozen.
My gut says to move ahead with the transfer by myself. WWYD? Have any of you ladies gone through treatments alone? Never a dull moment lol

I had my IUI last month by myself. I got DH sample and carried it to the RE and waited there til they could put it in. It sucked, but had to be done due to the day of the week it was.

ETA: I've been to almost every appointment alone. DH went to the initial one with me and he was there for this IUI, but that's it. Due to our "if we don't work, we don't get paid" mantra he misses the least he can...

Did you? That makes me feel a little better. I think I'm just gonna go for it without him, as crappy as it is... I feel like I don't have a choice @ this point.

Hello ladies. I posted in here a while back about our issues getting preggo. Well fertility specialist wanted complete SA on hubby which we did monday got results back same day. pathologist said his numbers looked fine well specialist tells us that she wants his count to be at least 40 mil per mL which he had 33 mil. It wasn't a complete 48 hold. It was 10 hours shy of that. She said looks like his counts are low. He also had 84% abnormal which may not be a bad thing but with 16% normal it's quite good. They expect 4% normal to still be ok. So he has to redo the test which this time he's taking a vitamin starting today and drinking at least 4 bottles of water since his viscosity was high. My vitex came in today so I started taking that also. I have to get my testing done but have to wait for AF to get the first set done and then again on CD 21. So I'm justa waiting for mine to be done. We will redo DH's one on the 22nd since he's off on Mondays. We will cut off BDing Friday morning and do the sample Monday morning. So about a 72 hour hold. That should help things along. So that's the update with my messed up world.
