I would do the transfer by yourself. I wouldn't want to wait.

With my daughter my husband went to every RE appointment with me. When we TTC'ed our second I had to go to every appointment by myself. It was hard going alone. The only appointment DH attended was our IVF consultation.

Caitlin- I would still go! Definitely don't miss a cycle. I'm sure once you get your bfp you'll be glad you went. There will be lots of other milestones he will be there for. Good luck!!!!

I have to have someone drive me because of the Valium and usually it's my husband but next time it will probably be my mom. My RE is 2 1/2 hours away and now that my husband is contracted and paid by the hour he gets all antsy about having to take time off.

How did you get pregnant with you 2? IUI or IVF?

I would go by yourself since you don't need his sperm this time. I did drove 4 hours and had an IUI by myself once cause it was the middle of the week and DH was working far away. We had his sperm frozen. I will probably be going by myself once we get started. Out new RE is 5 hours away and DH works 2-5 hours in the opposite direction. But my new RE is where my parents live so my mom or sis can come with me.

Neither. I got pregnant on my own after 3 failed IUIs and being told we'd have to do IVF. In December I had my 3rd failed IUI, I became very depressed and we decided to hold off on IVF for a year or so. My husband is diagnosed with infertility due to low sperm count and motility because he has a vericose vein on his testicle. He had surgery to fix the vein on Feb 1st. We knew we couldn't have sex for almost a month after surgery so we had sex a couple times a day for 7 days before his surgery in January. I ended up ovulating on CD 45 on January 28th. I joked to DH and said "watch, I'll get pregnant and your surgery will be for nothing". I was right I got pregnant somehow from that.

I still can't wrap my mind around it. It shouldn't have happened. His count is low and his motility is terrible. I ovulated late into my cycle the egg should have been a dud. We spent 2.5 years trying to get pregnant with our daughter, she was an IUI baby. After I had her we decided not to use birth control. We tried for this baby for over 2.5 years, I wasted money on pre~seed, herbs for myself, soft cups, herbs and vitamins for my husband, failed IUI cycles, hcg I never used...

The week I did get pregnant with this baby my husband used his herbs so I don't know if they helped him or not.

Hopefully what happened with me gives everybody hope. With our fertility issues it shouldn't have happened on its on. Its nearly impossible.

I'm waiting to get my AMH count back to see if I have enough eggs left to do IVF. My RE told me it was pointless to try on my own. I have so much pain with AF every month. And if it turns out I do t have very many eggs left I don't wanna waste anymore.

Understandable. Let me know your AMH levels when you get them back. According to my doctor my eggs are old for my age. We were told nothing would happen if we tried on our own. My friend has endo too and she's in a lot of pain from it. I feel bad for anybody with endo.
