Quoting NurseLindsey:" I'm feeling kind of defeated today. It just kinda hit me today that we have to wait another month. It's ... [snip!] ... and all I did was breastfeed, change diapers, and feel bad for Jace because he kept getting in my face while I was napping. "

The waiting is a b***h but yes, it is sooo worth it.

Triplets would be fun. :D HAH!

The wait is the worst :( I guess I just need to keep busy until then. I just hate feeling like every month is a wasted egg and another month I get older. I guess the positive in this is that next time, we know exactly what we need to do... I'm already thinking about another one after next one :) Unless we get triplets! If we do have multiples, this will be our last pregnancy.

Triplets would be a huge blessing. It'd take some financial finagling, though. One of us would have to stay home and since I make more, it'd probably be DH. But none the less, it'd be awesome! I just did some research about the trigger, it looks like we have about an 11% of having twins and a 6% chance of having triplets +... not to mention my family history. Unfortunately, multiples puts me at a higher risk for ectopic again, too.

*eta- I don't know if I posted it before, but triplets run in my family and it's my generations turn!

My trigger shot was around $100.

I did some googling... without insurance it's $200... so I'm guessing I'll be right about there, $100 (a 50% coverage). Not horrible... nothing an extra few hours of work won't cover!

Amanda - I stalk to December due date thread for updates for you ladies... I saw your post. I'm praying for you!

Glad everything went well and you had a short flight! Cool scar you'll have, lol.

Check out some of the online fertility med order places! Their cash prices are around $70 or so for trigger. I was going to do that this time but after my coupons and stuff for the follistim, it was easier just to order it all together from the fertility pharmacy in Birmingham.

And, thanks! I was just about to post in here about my scan.

If you ladies pray, please send one up for me/us. I had another scan this morning. Baby looks beautiful, measures perfectly at 5w5d. I'll get another scan next Monday to look for heartbeat. Anyway, during the scan she found a subchorionic hematoma. It looks as though a twin pregnancy attempted, but it wasn't able to implant correctly. I had one at 8 wks with Brody and I know how scary they can be, along with the fact that they can slightly increase your miscarriage risk. I'm at home resting, seems like that's all I ever do, lol. Ironic to me that this pregnancy is already so much like Brody... I pray it doesn't foretell the future since I began preterm labor with him at 25 weeks. :(

I'll be thinking about you. Stay off your feet! How are the OHSS symptoms?

Getting better by the day. Most of the abdominal fluid is gone, I still have some on my lungs, but it doesn't hurt nearly like it did. My ovaries are still monstrosities, but are trying to go down. I'm a work in progress. :)

I know they pumped a lot of gas in the abdomen for my surgery and I wonder if my organs are responding in a similar way as in OHSS. I feel super duper bloated and I've gained almost 15 pounds, plus having to pee every hour.

I wouldn't doubt it. Plus your body is hanging on to all the fluids they ran in you too.
