How do you ladies do it with fertility treatments and getting time off work?! I'm looking at my work schedule next month, and right during my fertile window I work like 3 days in a row. I'm hoping I can switch with someone. Even for monitoring there's no way I can leave work... it would be a few hours at a minimum. I'm hoping this all works out. I'm afraid we might have to wait off until July just to finagle work.

OMG what do you do when you find out your 15 year old foster daughter has an online bf from India who she's apparently engaged to????? I'm so beyond shocked and confused right now!!!

So I stupidly POAS this morning, 8 days past a 5 day transfer and BFN. No idea what the next step will be for us. We still have 10 frozen embryos but idk how many more BFNs I can take. This feels like a never ending nightmare :(

When were you supposed to test? Do you have a beta scheduled? It's probably just too early

I don't. And that, plus pregnancy making me sick are honestly the only reasons I don't work. BUT this was very planned. It's one reason I'm having fertility problems in the first place - because we waited so long.

IMO - You let her continue the relationship with some supervision. Tell her it's not appropriate to be engaged at 15. Invest in some parent type software that will let you track her every move on the computer. Let them talk privately but make it very clear that you intend to read their conversations at a future time. Allow her to video chat only when you are present. Basically just let it play out. An online romance can only last so long for a 15 year old and at least this way she isn't getting an STD or pregnant.

You're not out yet. Frozen embryos tend to take a little bit longer to bloom. Hope was always 2-4 days behind. But if you are, you just pick yourself up and do it all over again. At least of those has to be a sticky bean!

I agree! I can't help but to laugh at being engaged at 15, I was engaged at 15 we planned to get married right after I turned 16. LOLLOL that didn't work out.

With my 3yr old I tested 7 days past IUI to 12dpo, I didn't get a BFP. The next day I had my beta, my level was 44 I believe.

My beta is Monday the 13th which is a little late, it should be over the weekend but I go for bloodwork at RE's satellite office (not open weekends). I will probably POAS again this weekend.

It's a pain in the ass, not gonna lie. I knew IVF was a big time commitment and I'm not good at BSing excuses for time off, so I sat down with my boss back in January and told her exactly what the situation was. I was kinda firm and also told her i didnt want the added stress of finding people to cover my shifts or switching shifts. Interestingly enough, she went through IVF herself so she's been understanding. If worst came to worst, I was ready to cut down to part time at work but luckily I haven't had to yet. For me, honesty was the best policy. I think I got lucky though. Good luck!
