Have you considered provera to jump start? I'm afraid the surgery may have you out of whack...

I was thinking of just putting a NuvaRing in for a week if it doesn't start before I have my ECC.

Yay for your countdown!!! Sorry if this is a stupid question, but are IUIs medicated? If so when do you start the meds? Exciting! It feels so weird to not be "cycling". The waiting game gets old fast.

Good for you on the caffeine! I've struggled with cutting back. Hate to admit that I'm back into my (too much) iced coffee routine :(

Haha... I've probably gained weight in the past 2.5 months that we've been benched. I wanted to lose some but I focused on house stuff and homework. It didn't work the way I wanted it to but oh well.
Three weeks does seem like forever away but It'll fly. I'm going out of town for a week or so at the end of the week. We're visiting my parents in southern Utah. I think we're going to head to the grand canyon one day and go to Zion's national park one day. I'm excited to have a week together with my whole family. DH and I don't get more than a day or two together a month and I have shared custody of DS. So it's always such a blessing to get an extended period of time with him. When I get back I have two days of work and then I'm doing my HSG and then the next week it'll be time for IUI if my tubes are clear. It'll go by quickly :)

I have to say I read this yesterday at work and I didn't have a chance to respond but that comment almost made me spit my drink out laughing.

The waiting game does get old fast. I was okay with it for like a day after my initial break down.

We're probably going to be doing a trigger only because I O naturally. From what I understand I give myself the shot when it looks like I have a mature follie and then we do IUI 36 hours later. I don't really "need" meds but my RE is super awesome and said she knows how badly I want this and long I've been waiting. She wants to do everything she can to ensure a healthy conception and pregnancy.

So needless to say if we do that I'll need monitoring. Which is fine by me especially if I have a blocked tube. But it all just depends on the results of the HSG. I'm praying both my tubes are clear. You know reading on the internet is bad when you read forums and blogs of other women who catch an ectopic as far along as I was (8weeks) and they lose a tube.... they have repeat ones and lose the other tube. That scares the be-jeeb-us out of me.

And the caffeine cutting down was a B! The headaches were the worse. I'm so glad I did it now instead of after I got pregnant.

I didn't let DH touch me for like 2 weeks after mine. I was so bloated and gross. I'm embarrassed by my scars, too :-(
I asked him how he was going to handle himself post pardem... that's 6 weeks. He said he'd outsource
