Quoting Jace's Mom [TTC #2]:" I didn't let DH touch me for like 2 weeks after mine. I was so bloated and gross. I'm embarrassed by ... [snip!] ... my scars, too :-( I asked him how he was going to handle himself post pardem... that's 6 weeks. He said he'd outsource "

Haha that sounds exactly like something Scott would say. He talks about hiring a desperate Colombian to live in and do housework all the time (like we even need that with me not working). I'm sure his enormous crush on Sofia Vergara has nothing to do with that.

Oh men... In their little worlds lol!
I think I'd tell him he could hire some homely looking maid/help after the baby is born to help with housework and cooking... that you get to pick out based on appearances

You have lots going on to keep your mind off of the wait period. I'm sure you will you enjoy it! The Grand Canyon is super beautiful!!

Not sure if someone answered the first portion but my IUI will be medicated. day 3-7 is suppose to be clomid then that's followed by two fsh shot then a trigger (somewhere around day 11) and progesterone after the IUI is conducted.

I see! I wasn't sure how that worked. What are you ladies taking for progesterone? I took Crinone & I just got the bill for it... Ugh! Nice of my insurance company to warn me it wasn't covered.

Wow Crinone is the only suppository my insurance will cover. How much was your bill? I use PIO because I can't stand the grossness of Crinone.

they called my medication prometrium, which should be covered with my insurance. I think they said $20 for a 90 day supply

Super annoyed with everything TTC wise...
Our consents for IUI are only good for 6 months. The last one we signed expired in April. So I go to my RE's office to sign a new one today... apparently my order for IUI was deleted. She originally put 4 cycles in... so silly me for assuming there would be 3 still ordered. Nope... she deleted them. The fertility nurse said she assumes it's contingent upon my HSG results. So now... after my HSG on CD 9 or 10, I have to try and make sure my RE enters the order and DH and I sign the consent within a few days. I don't like this slim time frame. It stresses me out.

Thanks. I think I'm going to email her when I get back into town (beginning of the month) to remind her. She might have just deleted them so we didn't try and do IUI during our waiting period.

I wish this thread was a PT only thread sometimes, really need to talk about something but I can't post it here.

Only because alot of you have mentioned this topic or have been through this.

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around something and can't ask anyone I know about it.

Everything with me and DH is wonderful and health wise, I am still trying to get my thyroid straight before I start treatments, but I need someone else's perspective. I have never been through anything like this, and I am at a real loss for words how to explain it without airing someone else's issues.

My bill was $230 which isn't horrible but it was for only 2 boxes! I think for our next FET I'm switching to the PIO. I'm dreading those needles though :(
