You should be ready to start on BCP with your first cycle after D&C. It may take awhile to start though. Be sure to have it on hand so you can start as soon as your cycle starts.

To turn off the updates go to My Account and click on the Subscriptions tab. The option for it should be there.

I got it shut off. But how long will it take for my next cycle to start?

That depends entirely on how much HCG is left in your system. When I had my first missed miscarriage it was discovered at 9 1/2 weeks and measured 6 weeks. It took me exactly six weeks for my period to start after the D&C. You can keep an eye on your levels with HPTs. Once you start getting negatives it should be that much longer before you ovulate (2-3 weeks).

That's a while! Sick if my RE will put me on bcp. Last time it really suppressed my ovaries and I only had three follicles and they took forever to grow.

No. So I could possibly get pregnant on my own before I get my period. Not that In going to hold my breath, but that would be pretty awesome. Now that I know my problem is bad eggs. It's still possible for a good one to come out. In gonna call my RE tomorrow and maybe set up a consult in a couple weeks. It just sucks to be "waiting" again. :(

Adding into this, after my chemical or whatever it was ( I had embryonic tissue but declined further testing since they said my thyroid caused the m/c. )

I followed up with the OB at the hospital and had no HSG in my system after 9 weeks, but it took till almost October of last year for me to get a cycle in my own. I declined birth control and induced a period every 90 days with provera, due to the pcos.

I am so sorry, god has a plan for you. He has a plan for everyone and looking back at my loss it is comforting to me to know my child is with my Father and Grandfather and will return to me but they weren't done teaching him things yet. Even though he belongs here with me, he is still needed there. I have to keep in mind that I can't see the future and I need to trust judgement of another.

So sorry for your loss christy!
As for everyone still ttc good luck in your upcoming treatments! Well today is iui day. This is insemination #8 so hopefully this is the one. We met with our re Sunday and we have 6 follicles that were between 18-20. So we triggered Sunday night. Our re was pretty excited for us and said I was doing better than one of his IVF patients. We discussed that if there is more than 3 we would have to go to Philadelphia to have some removed. I told him that I didn't care how many as long as we can finally get pregnant. So now I'm sitting here waiting for my iui and praying that if its gods will we will be blessed again. Say a prayer for me today :)

Quoting Amelia Margaret:" Oh wow that sounds like a great opportunity. What are the benefits like? Can't wait to hear about your ... [snip!] ... hear about your next ultrasound! I used my doppler for the first time at 10w3d and it took me a GOOD 30 minutes to find the HB."

It definately is! The benefits are okay... definately better than my current employer, which is nice. DH and I have discussed him being a SAHD and we probably could with the better benefits (because we only pay $100 a month for all of us through his work right now).

Thanks :) My US is tomorrow, I can't believe it!
I'm contemplating buying a doppler... I'm 10w5d today so I could proabably actually use it here soon.
