I am at the end of my rope with my RE!

I have been on thyroid replacement for almost a year and it has fallen a point! He moved my dose from 100mcg to 112mcg.
My a1c is actually in a good range, and I want to start treatments but I am not going to until my thyroid is better.

I just don't understand why he wouldn't increase it higher, or add T3 therapy into what I am already taking.

I dislike birthcontrol and fear getting pregnant again to only miscarry since I know what caused it. Your thyroid controls so much, I feel older than I actually am a lot, since my medication dose isn't high enough I am having serious side effects.

This weekend I had the worst muscle cramps I have ever had, I couldn't walk or even touch my lower leg area, my insomnia is terrible, I am having small joint pain in my wrists and the little bones in my feet. It is starting to affect my eyes as well, driving at night is hard some times. I wish he was the doctor he promotes himself as, cause right now he is falling short. I am really limited in my area, and almost all the REs are high end IVF clinics who run like a factory.

I might be forced to go way out of my area, and I am really getting pissed. I already drive 2.5 hours each way to this RE, and we were thinking about buying a house closer, and are working on that now.

Sorry for the rant, I am sitting in a hotel room waiting for 3am to happen so I can get a shower and go to the airport. I can't sleep, I hate flying.

I hope all you had a good weekend!
I am excited for you ladies about to start your treatment cycles!

I know how you feel in a way. My husband started a new work schedule 4 on and 2 off. When I get home from work I pass him out the door. And even though he ha two days off he works one of them over to help with bills and such. So now I only see him like once a week

That sucks! Can you see a regular endocrinologist?

Ok so it's 6 dpiui and my pants don't fit right. I've been burping nonstop and I'm nauseous. I'm also burning up too. yesterday at church I taught the kids for a hour and by the time I got out I was sweating. I have a full feeling in my belly too. I'm hoping this is not just progesterone symptoms.

I have had 3 in my life time tell me pcos was caused by weight gain, and since my T4 was fine, my thyroid was fine.

Most are very stupid and are glorfied diabetic educators. I haven't seen a reg endo since after high school. I might have to try and find one, but I don't regard them highly.

Just checking in :) I hope all is well with you ladies :) I'm so excited for those of you with an upcoming transfer... Although now that I think about it, I think it's just Amelia. Caitlin yours was yesterday, right?!
AFM... I had some bleeding on Sunday (11w3d). I went to urgent care and we heard a HB on Doppler and my cervix is closed. The advice nurse thinks it was like a delayed bleeding from DTD a few days prior. It's all brown blood. It's just now stopping as of this morning. Also... I booked an early gender US on Halloween!!! :) I'm so excited to see if there's a p***s or a vagina inside of me lol

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow :)

It is flying by but it's not. I'm so ready to be out of the first trimester! Only 2 weeks left. I'd really like this bleeding to stop :(

Very! I'm still bleeding though. I spoke too soon. It stopped this morning but picked back up this afternoon. I also have some pretty bad lower back/flank pain. The OB on call thinks I might have a kidney infection so I'm doing a UA tomorrow. I'm very much looking forward to hearing our baby's HB on Doppler again! Luckily I'm feeling some flutters here and there, which is very reassuring. Risk of a MC is so low at this point... Thank God!

Transfer went well! We transferred 2 blastocysts, 1 BB and 1 BA. I don't 100% understand the letter grading, but RE/embryologist seemed optimistic. My beta is 10/8... now we wait & pray!
