I had one with Hope and whenever I bled I would be super crampy for the next day or so. Just a heads up on that.

So plan on it! I've been working like 48-60 work weeks. This is a nice break. :)

I haven't been crampy but I've had some lower back pain.

We'll idk what to think now bc my hcg is still 51 so the nurse at my RE says it's unlikely that I'm ovulating.

51 sounds like it's trending down a lot! I read somewhere that you can ovulate when your hcg is less than 75.

We'll all the drs were busy so I saw the np and she said no sex til my hcg is gone bc they don't want me to get pregnant again. Why not?! Then isaw my OB in he hallway(not the one who did my D & C) and he asked how I was doing and what happened. So I asked him about the sex and he said maybe with condoms but they are waiting to see what my pathology report was from 2 weeks ago. He also said no sex if I'm still bleeding. Idk I know the opk can be wrong bc it's picking up my hcg but why would my temp drop?

It could just be a random temp. drop. I don't usually get a drop before I ovulate, it just shifts up.

What is so bad about getting pregnant again right away?

Ugh I feel like crawling back in my bed and crying. I think my re should have prescribed me stronger progesterone or something. AF arrived three days early and on the day my temp dropped o. Also my temps have been staying at 98.1 or so nothing flucating. In the past they have been higher. Well I called my re's office and he won't be back in until wednesday. So this cycle is a waste. It will be too late to start another protocol. Have any of you heard of ovarian drilling? It's suppose to help with pcos. I'm going to talk to my re about it Wednesday and are if that's a option or just laparoscopy. I haven't had a laparoscopy on 10 years ad I wonder if something's messed up in there. Even though all my tests come back normal on my hsg and saline sonogram. I just don't know anymore?

You mentioned pcos, how's your weight? Insulin resistance and thyroid problems such as a low tsh and normal t4 can cause failure. It kinda goes hand in hand.

I am really sorry your having problems, have you gotten a 2nd look over? 8 IUIs is a lot when I think about cost. Is everything internally right?

After 6 failed IUIs I switched to IVF.

Well I asked about possibly being put on metformin and from what re said I didn't need it. My thyroid and insulin levels were normal. I also thought weight could be a issue, which I've only gained 10 PDs since I conceived my son. I lost all the baby weight fast because of breast feeding. So he sent honk that was a concern. Our insurance covered everything infertility up until recently. Now they no longer cover iui's and I have to pay 600 for meds. IVF is out of the question our re wants 9,000 up front to do it and there's not way possible.

All my levels were normal too, but my RE still put me on a low dose (500mg ER with evening meal) anyway. As a bi-product it increases the conversion of male hormones to female ones. I conceived the cycle I started it (which could have been coincidence, bc I conceived my son on a similar protocol w/o metformin). It has done wonders for my "male hormone" issues though such as sweating, acne. I plan to stay on it even while not TTC.
