Thinking of getting bunk beds for my lo they are the kind that you can also pull apart and be 2 separate beds.

For mom's who have this for there lo's what are your views on bunk beds are they worth it? Actually wanting to do bunk beds to save up a little room since im planning on my lo sharing a room with the baby when it comes. Of course the baby will sleep in my room for a while but the crib and stuff will be in my daughters room.

Bunk beds have pros and cons. For me after hearing something that happened to my mother in laws friends I will never consider them. Her 3 yr old fell off a set of bunk beds and he is permanently paralyzed. I know its a freak accident but it happened to one person could happen to another. Don't want to freak you out I thought you maybe need to consider how dangerous they can be before you make up your mind.

In bunk beds you have really many things to consider especially the safety of you kids. As parents we need to be cautious.

Bunk beds are really nice as long as your kids are ready to sleep on it. It can save space in the bedroom.

I agree with you sophiehurtt.Bunk beds are a great thing for the space and the your children's entertainment. You can save space and money with bunk beds.Bunk beds are great space savers for homes that have two or more children sharing a bedroom. They allow each child to have his or her own personal space by having his or her own bed.

My girls have a crazy small room at the house I'm renting. We got a bunk bed with stairs that have shelves built in the side for storage and then they also have a trundle underneath the lower bunk. I definitely think the bed was worth it. They have so much more room now, where as they had just enough to get to their closet and their door before hand.
